"People tell me that I am disciplined, self-driven, and coachable.  As an Honor Roll student, I work hard on and off the field.  I am a versatile athlete -  I have played 8 different positions on all sides of the ball (WR, RB, LB, DE, S, TE, K, P).  In my spare time, I enjoy watching film and consider myself a student of the game. I also like track.  In 8th grade, I was the Greater Middlesex County Champion for the 200m, and was the Freshman Hudson County Champion for the 55m." - Jamei Schenck

Jamei Schenck 2023 (“Jam”) is an electrifying receiver playing for Coach Richard Hansen at one of the top high school teams in the country, the Saint Peter’s Prep Marauders.

Born into foster care and classified by the state at 5 months old, Jam conquered much to become the powerful athlete he is today.  Overcoming surgery, breathing machines, speech therapy, physical therapy, occupational therapy, and more, Jam is a beast on the field, a scholar in the classroom, and a globally competent gentleman everywhere else.  Standing at 5’10”, weighing 180 lbs, and squatting over 425 lbs, Jam is pure power and explosion.

Coach accolades include:  “the most athletic kid I’ve ever coached,” “brings toughness and discipline,” “everybody’s favorite teammate,” and “extremely coachable.”

Jam’s schedule with the Marauders has him competing against some of the best athletes in the country.  D-1 teammates and adversaries are commonplace for Schenck.  His exploits depict a player with field awareness, speed and explosion.  His 4.58s 40, 11.4m, and 115" broad jump are impressive, but nothing is as impressive as his footwork, agility, shiftiness, and bursts of speed with pads on.  His versatility in multiple positions - whether kicking, punting, holding, running, or playing on special teams - separates Jam from the rest.

Cap all of that off with a 3.77 GPA and devotion to community service, Schenck is exactly the kind D1 talent any coach can build a program around.  Look for Schenck’s stock to explode by the end of this season, especially when combined with his 7v7 performances at his club team (Next Level Culture) and the anticipated summer circuit.
