ATHLETE ON THE RISE - HUDSON CATHOLIC ’23 QB CHRIS LANG JR IS A DUAL THREAT WITH A CANNON ARM AND 3.8 GPA.
FREEHOLD, NJ - Hudson Catholic’s Chris Lang Jr is a young, big framed QB out of Freehold, NJ. Lang is just under 6’0", weighs a little over 200 pounds, and has a cannon of an arm. Lang is a dual threat QB – meaning he can run and throw which gives coaches a lot of options with Lang under Center.
“Lang has great pocket presence,” said GoMVB Coach Pat Marzo. “He can take off with the rock, throw on the run, and navigate a variety of sets like wild cat, pro, and run and gun.
As a sophomore at Freehold Borough, Lang won the “Colonial Spotlight” award, and was the MVP at the PA Swag 7 on 7 Spring team. More importantly, Lang excels in the classroom with a 3.8 GPA.
Lang has already had some interest with multiple camp invites to showcase his big arm and accuracy, and is a two-sport athlete with varsity basketball on his resume as well.
