Manalapan, NJ: If you look up and down the Manalapan boys' lacrosse roster, you will see the team is filled with plenty of underclassmen ready for a breakout year.

And it might be Class of 2023 attackman Adam Vender at the forefront of this campaign for the Braves.

Vender has been working hard in the offseason in preparation of the 2022 season, when Manalapan looks set to jump up into conversation of elite programs in the Shore Conference. The nearly 6-0, 175-pound player comes into this year with 13 goals to his resume already and will look to add to that number. As the Manalapan team continues to develop, Vender should be able to find that next level.

Off the field, Vender has performed well in the classroom, as he looks to move on to the next level. Vender is also a mentor to many youth players in the Manalapan program.

Adam’s greatest attribute as a lacrosse player is the power he generates on his shot, which snaps off his stick with extreme pace. Here is what one scout has said about Vender’s game:

“Adam’s velocity to his shots makes everyone on the field take notice! You can see from his highlights that Adam is capable of shooting from the outside with a lot of power. He also uses his size and toughness to push through defenders.”

“I expect Vender to have a big season leading the attack for this young, up and coming Manalapan team.”
