NJ ’22 WR/ATH, PAUL “WOJO” WOJCIECHOWSKI SEALS ANOTHER HUGE WIN FOR MANALAPAN BRAVES
MANALAPAN, NJ: Paul "Wojo" Wojciechowski, for the second week in a row, intercepted a pass on the last drive to secure another big win for the battle tested Manalapan Braves.
Wojo, as he is known, has proven to be one of the marquee players of the Jersey Shore. The 4.55s 40 yard sprinter caught a huge 45 yard pass earlier in the contest that loomed large in another tough conference game.
“Big players make big plays,” said GoMVB analyst, Pat Marzo. “Wojo had a huge play on offense this week and this makes two game ending interceptions in two consecutive weeks."
The main heroics came with under a minute left and Jackson Memorial on the Manalapan 25 yard line. Jackson was down just a score. They chose to challenge Wojciechowski and it would prove to be the wrong move as Southern found out just a week earlier in a similar scenario. Wojo’s pick at the Manalapan 9 yard line closed out the game and enabled Manalapan’s offense to take a few knees.
