BIG PLAY LINEBACKER, '22 OLB MESSIAH REVELS, READY TO SHUT DOWN OFFENSES AGAIN
LAURINBURG, NC – Messiah Revels is a big-time playmaker for the Scotland Fighting Scots and coach Richard Bailey. Revels is a fluid and versatile defensive standout with the tools needed for the next level.
Messiah runs a verified 4.6s 40 and carries 185lbs on his 5’11” frame. Revels deploys the cover skills of a corner/safety but the hitting and open field tackling ability of a linebacker.

Marzo also had this to say about Revels, “Messiah plays with total control but also with extreme speed and aggression each and every play. A rare find. Backside pursuit, blitzes, runs in the box thwarted and he’s terrific in man to man coverage – the kid is a player.”
Revels will attack a competitive HS schedule this season and will be more than up to the task.
Due to his versatility, Revels can find himself at linebacker or possibly safety at the next level. His open field play is stellar as are his community service commitments. Messiah has a 3.0 GPA in the classroom.
