BORDENTOWN, NJ - Maurice Ciccia is a 2022 defensive end and outside linebacker from Bordentown NJ and attends Bordentown High School. Even a quick review of Ciccia’s film and you can’t help but get taken aback by his length, pursuit ability and havoc he causes in opponent’s backfields.
“This player has so many skill sets its almost hard to explain them all,” said GoMVB Coach Pat Marzo. “Simply watching Ciccia’s film will demonstrate what we mean, in seconds. It’s that evident.”
Ciccia stands at 6’3” tall and weighs 210 lbs. He can overpower an offensive tackle from the defensive line and take down a back or QB. But he’s also playing OLB and covering slots and backs 20 yards down field. And then he chases down running backs on the opposite side of the field with the angles and running ability that are characteristic of corners and safeties.
“Strength, length, quickness, speed and a relentless pursuit of the football is probably the easiest way to describe Maurice Ciccia,” added Marzo. “Athletic genes run in the family as Maurice’s cousin committed to Rutgers this past year.”
