Class of ‘24 QB, Mark Augello, is the next Super Sophomore in the Shore Conference
One of the most athletic 2024 Quarterbacks in the state, Mark Augello, is ready to show the Shore Conference what he’s made of. Augello ALREADY tops 6’0”, weighs close to 140 LBS and has a wingspan of approximately 74 inches.
“Mark has a unique football IQ and vision on the field for his age – whether he’s behind center as the QB or running with the rock,” said GoMVB Coach Frank Barone. “He’s got natural footwork and throws a very accurate, tight spiral - on top of all of it, he’s extremely coachable … simply put Mark’s a workhorse whether it’s in the film room or on the field,” added Coach Barone.
His commitment to excellence goes beyond the gridiron - in the classroom Mark boasts a cumulative GPA of 4.23. He has all the telltale signs of becoming a highly scouted prospect in his junior and senior years.
Augello also had a very productive offseason, spending countless hours working with trainer Cody High, and has made substantial strides with his footwork and ball velocity. Mark excelled in all his 7v7 competitions this summer and will undoubtedly earn varsity snaps this season.
Mark also plays DB and is an absolute ball hawk. His athleticism allows him to play any skill position on the field. The future looks extremely bright for Augello and we are very excited to see how he performs this season.
