D1 Stock Value in NJ Football Hun School Class of ‘25 WR/ATH Liam Thorpe Already Rising Fast
Princeton, NJ: The Hun’s rising sophomore Liam Thorpe has already started making some waves in the recruiting circles.
That is what happens when you play for the top-ranked prep school program in the country.
Thorpe will be part of a dominant offense in 2022 and will benefit from running routes for University of Iowa QB commit Marco Lainez. But there are so many weapons in the Raiders’ program on both sides of the ball, and Thorpe will also get a chance to practice every day against Division 1 defensive players for two more seasons, which will only make him into a better player.
Thorpe already has gotten some interest from Division 1 schools – BYU and Utah – as well as some of the most elite academia in the country (Chicago and Dartmouth).
Off the field, he has a 3.6 GPA, and that should continue to rise next academic year.
Thorpe is also putting in third work in the weight room and on the track. Right now, he is benching over 250 pounds, and has his 40 time at 4.6 seconds. Those numbers are only going to improve with two more years in one of the best strength and conditioning programs in the country.

“Liam is already showing just how good he can be, and he has a big chance to move up to an elite receiver over the next few years. I can’t say this enough, but he is going to get so much better practicing every day with and against guys that are 100 percent committed to getting better every practice. Thorpe already has that winning mentality, and he has a chance to be a very good one.
“He is very quick and runs good routes. I am very interested to see how much of a jump he can make between his freshman and sophomore seasons. It is crazy to think he has three more years in this program.”
