Hun Class of 2025 NJ Linebacker Kamar Archie Picks Up Georgia Offer

PRINCETON, NJ: Have you ever seen Hun Class of 2025 linebacker (and halfback) Kamar Archie play live?

On the football field, there are many words that could describe the player. A few of the ones heard most from opposing coaches and offensive players are "scary," "freakish talent," and "nightmare."

Archie is that good, and he's a freshman.

He was runner up for the Times of Trenton Area Defensive Player of the Year when he was FOURTEEN years old at Ewing after he had 56 tackles, five sacks, and two interceptions in just five games. He was so tough to block that his senior teammate in 2020, Aaron Forde, picked up 11 sacks and the DPOY award playing on the other side of Archie.

In 2021, Archie was pivotal to Hun's 9-0 campaign and Northeast Prep League title. The Hun defense allowed just 63 points all year, pitching three shutouts and allowing just seven points in four other games.

Oh, and he has a 3.1 GPA already in the classroom, which will improve over the next few years.

The offers have been piling in for Archie, including offers from teams that played in the College Football Playoff semifinals and various other conference title games - and just this week, from the current NCAA National Champion Georgia Bulldogs.

Wow!

Multiple scouts, journalists, and coaches have raved about the freshman, and here is a synopsis of what they have said:

"I do not think I am going out on a limb here by saying Archie will be a big-time Division 1 defensive player. He was in the Hun system for less than a year and already looked like a star in a couple of games I saw him. His tapes should be on YouTube: he is already a freakishly-good player, and he has three more years to develop."

"Archie's speed and strength at such a young age are already developed, and he does not look out of place with players three years older. He is already 6'3", 215 pounds, and the Hun weight program, which might be the best in the country under Naati Akauola and Alana Asch, will see him get much bigger and stronger in the coming years."

"I honestly can't wait to see Archie develop over the next few years. I think he has just about as high of a ceiling as is possible: there really are no limits to his potential."
