NJ HUN Raiders Grooming Another D1 Prospect - Class of ‘23 RB Dom Deluzio
Princeton, NJ: It’s easy to see why so many coaches have been enamored with Hun School Class of 2023 star, running back, Dominic DeLuzio.
The three-sport star (wrestling, track, and football) was a key component in Todd Smith’s 9-0 Hun football team that won two league titles in 2021 and was ranked top prep team in the nation. Playing alongside a roster of talent that will be playing Division 1 football in the near future, DeLuzio showed just why he is a dominant athlete.

“Dominic DeLuzio does it all. He is a track superstar, wrestling champion and football player that can play a multitude of spots. The ’23 grad stands at 6’0” 210lbs and plays for Coach Smith at the prestigious Hun School of Princeton. He has been hand-timed as low as 4.48s in the 40 and already benches close to 300 lbs. Deluzio also boasts a 30+” vertical. All of these stats sure to improve with another year in the top strength and conditioning program in the country.
DeLuzio shines at running back as well as linebacker. While he can play either at the next level, some scout him as a major safety recruit also. He has coverage ability, explosion and a high football IQ. DeLuzio has shown his pure vision and running ability for the Raiders this season and is a multi-year defensive leader.”
DeLuzio has worked hard in the classroom as well, challenged by the rigorous demands of the college prep course load at the Hun School. And with another year to go in the weight room and practicing against some of the top Division 1 talent in the country, DeLuzio is only going to get better, faster, and stronger, which is a scary thought for opposing coaches.
