NJ '22 DE/TE JOSEPH JUAREZ PUTTING UP NUMBERS WITH FREEHOLD TOWNSHIP PATRIOTS AND POWERING THEIR WAY THROUGH SEASON

FREEHOLD, NJ – Joey Juarez had an all star season in the shortened Covid year of 2020 and continues to put up numbers in 2021. The 6’3” 230lb Juarez is contributing on both sides of the ball.

Juarez had five tackles, a sack and stellar offensive line play in a 35-33 Patriot win this past Friday. He's amassed 42 tackles (5 for losses), 2 sacks and 2 QB hurries this season.

Township line coach, Alex Mattina had this to say, “Joe is a very flexible offensive lineman. He has the ability to move positions based off team need and opponent on a weekly basis. He’s real quick off the ball and can pass protect as good as anyone. Juarez has great feet and a very solid base.”

This was the second win for Juarez and Co. in the last three weeks. Freehold has two games left and two needed wins for a playoff berth.

Juarez has a 3.2 GPA and is interested in marketing. Juarez has a squat max over 400 lbs. and a deadlift right under 500 lbs.

Juarez and his Patriots will line up against Toms River East on October 22nd at TRE.
