Ohio '23 WR Preston Everhart Ready to Light Up Senior Season with NJ Football's HUN Raiders
Dublin, OH: Preston Everhart decided to make the move to play for Todd Smith in the Hun School football program, and Everhart is going to get the chance to reap the rewards in Fall of 2022.
The Class of 2023 wide receiver was a standout for Dublin Jerome in Ohio in 2021, making multiple end of season award teams: Everhart was All-Ohio Capital Conference, All-District Central Ohio, All-Metro Columbus, and All-Ohio.
He played in the backfield and split wide, as one of the primary weapons for Dublin Jerome. Now, in 2022, Everhart is going to be able to catch passes from University of Iowa commit Marco Lainez, and run behind a line filled with D1 and Power Five players at Hun.
He also gets a chance to practice with the best coaching staff in the country, as well as work in a top-notch weight program that has seen so many players make the jump from very good to elite over the years.
Smith sends players to Division 1 schools, and Everhart is going to be another athlete that will get that chance in the coming year.
Everhart (5-10, 175-pounds) has posted some fast times already in the 40 (4.59) and the three-cone drill (3.97), and once again, those times will come down in the coming year with the speed training in the Hun program.

“Preston is a phenomenal athlete who can turn what appears to be nothing into a big play,” Glass said. “He has special vision and great feet. A lot of times, he’ll be stopped and bounce it outside. Sometimes, he’ll go the wrong way and drive the coaches crazy, but other times it turns into gold. When you have a kid of his ability, you trust his instincts because they’ll usually go into your favor.”
