UBER VERSATILE TE/DE/QB, NJ OLD BRIDGE KNIGHT '24 CJ FORTUNES GOT SIZE, STRENGTH, SPEED AND BRAINS - AND A BRIGHT FUTURE
OLD BRIDGE, NJ – Chris “C.J.” Fortunes is just 15 years old. A 2024 grad who is already 6’2” and 205 lbs., C.J. is primarily a QB but can play anywhere on the grid iron. To say this athlete’s upside is massive is an understatement.
C.J. Fortunes is a top quality QB but will have to wait his turn for Old Bridge High School as he is just a 2024 grad. That does not mean that Fortunes does not have plenty to offer his team already. The sizeable athlete can already squat in the mid 300’s and can contribute at a multitude of positions. C.J. is the QB of the future for Old Bridge but he can make immediate contributions at TE, OLB or DE.
“C.J. is a definite QB, who should be on the HS scene next season, but the kid can play ball now," said Pat Marzo, GoMVB Analyst. "Strong, agile, great hands and great tackling ability - a coach will always find a spot for a player like that.”
Marzo added, “He is so big and so young. The projection on C.J. is a 6’4” 230 lbs QB by the time he enters college. His arm is serious, his mobility is terrific - this kid will be the entire package.”
Fortunes is a community service volunteer and achieved a 3.7 GPA in the classroom.
