CEDAR VALLEY HIGH ’22 CB AND TRACK CAPTAIN, GRANT SALTER, SET FOR BIG UPCOMING SEASON
Eagle Mountain, Ut - Cedar Valley’s Grant Salter is a true cover corner who will challenge the receiver on every down. Grant runs a 4.68s 40-yard dash on the laser along with a strong 330 lbs. squat. The incoming senior is looking at a big upcoming season.
Grant has a skill that a lot of corners do not have - good tackling. Grant tackles like a linebacker at 175lbs. and isn’t afraid of contact.
“Salter is a true athlete,” said GoMVB Coach Pat Marzo. “He also runs track in which he broke the record at his school in the 100m and was named “Sprinter of the Year.” He was also a part of many winning relay teams and is a captain on the track team.”
Salter not only excels on any field he plays on but also the classroom. With a 3.68 GPA along with being a 9x honor roll recipient, it’s clear Salter is both focused and driven.
