NJ Hun School of Princeton Football PG Offensive Tackle Cole Morgan Ranked Four-Star Recruit
What happens when you get into Todd Smith's Hun School football program is amazing!
Cole Morgan, the 6'5", a 280-pound postgraduate offensive tackle who just graduated from the prestigious Delbarton School with many academic and athletic accolades, will play one more year of high school football with Smith's team this fall.
Maybe it is not a coincidence, but Morgan went from a three-star to a four-star recruit when the scouting sites heard he would play for a season at "Lineman Prep." But Hun is not just for football: the school has sent so many football players and athletes in all sports on campus onto some of the best universities in the world, and Morgan will be another one that does just that.
He is an elite lineman with All Super Conference and All-State accolades in New Jersey: the four-star ranking shows just that. Morgan allowed no sacks for all of 2021 and had 56 pancake blocks in 11 games for the Green Wave.
But Morgan is also a workout warrior in the weight room, benching over 350 pounds and squatting 500 pounds. He is also agile, with a 40 time that will be sub 5.0 by the time he moves on to college.
A stud in the classroom as well, Morgan has a 3.5 GPA and a 1230 SAT score. He has offers from three Ivy League institutions, including Georgetown and West Point, as well as multiple other FBS teams.

"He is now a four-star offensive tackle and should see some big-time offers coming in on top of the 18 he already has. Morgan is a tremendous 2-sport standout who excels in football and lacrosse. You won't find many 275-lb linemen who can run around the lacrosse field like Cole Morgan. Morgan is a very athletic and highly talented offensive line prospect who plays for one of the top high school programs in the state.
"This young man has been well-coached and has a work ethic second to none both in the classroom and on the playing field. Morgan is a brilliant player with a high football IQ. Plays assignment football and gets the job done. Watching his highlight video, you will see a very athletic lineman with great tenacity with his blocks. He's a tackle who has the athletic ability to play inside in college if needed.
"He's young for his class and has a lot of upside growth and development ahead of him. Morgan has excellent feet and does a great job of using his hands and arms as a pass and run blocker. Comes off powerfully at pad level and stays with his blocks until the whistle blows. Unlimited upside potential for this rising star!"
