NJ Football Hudson Catholic Hawk's Rising Senior Quarterback Chris Lang Jr. Ready for Big Summer
Freehold, NJ: There might be no summer more important for high school athletes than the one before their senior year.
Student-athletes have worked relentlessly on and off the football field for three years (and more) to get to this point. For football players, the summer means more work in the weight room and hours out on the practice fields to prepare for one last run at a banner and maybe earn a scholarship.
Hudson Catholic quarterback Chris Lang Jr. has already put in so much work to get to this point - now, he's going above and beyond to get to that next level.
Lang Jr. took over under center last year and led Hudson Catholic to more wins (eight) than in the two previous seasons (seven) and its first winning season in four years as a junior.
Now, he's ready to make that next jump and win a title or two. Lang Jr. crushed it in the classroom this year and has his GPA prepared to bounce higher from a 3.75. He is also bulking up and speeding up as he leads the team in the conditioning.
That is what leaders do: lead by example.

"He has a cannon arm, great pocket presence, can run with power out of the pocket, is effective throwing on the run, can run wild cat, pro set, run and gun, and or all the above. He is a great student as well. Lang has a 3.75 GPA and has been on the Honor Roll every year in high school.
"With one more year to go for him to build on a fantastic 2021 campaign, Lang will undoubtedly have a lot more to add to his ever-growing honors list."
This summer will be a critical one for Lang Jr.: he is sure to make it count and come out in his senior season ready to build on his impressive 2021 campaign.
